I know I have lots of catching up to do with my blog. The last two months have been absolutely crazy. We've spent countless hours compiling information, getting fingerprinted (three times!), having documents notarized, hounding our friends and family for references, completing online classes, reading books, taking quizzes, and being interviewed by a social worker.
After all our hard work, I'm happy to say that we made it through our home study! And we've turned in all of our required paperwork! So we are waiting for our dossier to be sent to Ethiopia!!!!
Stay tuned for more details . . .

Yay! I wondered where you'd gone. Fingerprinted three times? That sounds like fun. (not really)
Woo Hoo! I knew you would. Congratulations!
Congratulations for getting everything in!!
Congratulations on being further along on in the process! I look forward to reading your continued journey toward your baby.

Wonderful! It's so exciting!
Congratulations on finishing the paper chase! It feels like this stage will NEVER end for us. We have our first and only homestudy visit scheduled for Saturday, the 27th. We have just about all of our dossier paperwork compiled - just need to get the homestudy and Power of Attorney certified/authenticated in Sac. Ah! I'm so jealous that you're all done.... Anyway, just saw your comment on my blog. I'll add you to my list of Ethiopia blogs. Good to know there's someone else in CA adopting from Ethiopia!!! Most of the families with our agency live in Oregon or elsewhere. Stay in touch!
There you are!! I wondered where you had gone. Glad to see you're back (or are you? I guess this post is a couple of months old.)
